20-hour ESE In-service sponsored by CCEA
Location:  Teacher Learning Center (TLC) at Orange Park High School
Time: 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. (at the latest)

Beginning July 1, 2014, an applicant for renewal of a professional certificate must earn at least one college credit or equivalent in-service points (20) in teaching students with disabilities.  The Clay County Education Association offers six face-to-face modules that will meet the criteria for 20 in-service points in teaching students with disabilities. The modules are free to CCEA members and $20 per module for non-members. 
 
Module 1      Federal and State Requirements  *3 in-service points

Module 2      Building Relationships with Students  *3 in-service points

Module 3      Students’ Behaviors  *4 in-service points
Date: Wednesday, February 19

Module 4      Classroom Strategies and Accommodations  *4 in-service points

Module 5      Building Relationships with Helping Adults  *3 in-service points

Module 6      Keeping Students Safe from Bullying  *3 in-service points
